Vandals defaced state Sen. Todd Gardenhire’s Chattanooga office on Tuesday with slogans and drawings written in chalk that criticie his stance on healthcare, reports the Times-Free Press.
Gardenhire publicly opposed Gov. Bill Haslam’s Insure Tennessee plan over concerns that state would be on the hook for more money than it could afford. The chalk activists used hashtags in their graffiti to draw attention to Gardenhire’s position on healthcare. They also drew outlines of dead bodies on the ground outside the main doors to Gardenhire’s office.
The newspaper report includes several pictures of the graffiti, including such things as declaring the senator “has blood on his hands.”
